Policies
The terms that govern design, production, and aftercare.

The design fee covers six renderings and two videos, with three rounds of revision. A revision is an adjustment to the approved direction — for example band width, prong style, setting height, metal colour, or a minor design change. It is not a new design. A completely different ring requires a new design fee.
Further revisions after the three included rounds are $50 each.
CAD files remain with the workshop and are not released or sent to third parties.
-
A $150 design fee is required before design work begins. If you proceed with the ring, this fee is credited in full toward the order. If you do not proceed, the fee is not refundable.
After the design is approved, a 50% deposit is required to begin the prototype and the genuine ring. The remaining balance is due before the ring is released. The balance may be paid at pickup. If the ring is to be shipped, the balance is due before dispatch.
If you choose not to proceed with the genuine ring after the prototype has been made, a prototype fee of $500 is retained and the remainder of the deposit is refunded. The design fee is not refundable.
We accept debit, credit, cash, and e-transfer. Applicable taxes apply to all prices. Quotes are valid for 14 days.
-
A silver prototype is included once the deposit is received and production begins. It is plated to your chosen metal colour, set with cubic zirconia, and yours to keep.
The prototype lets you review size, proportions, and style in person before the genuine ring is made. Agreed changes from the prototype are made on the final ring.
A second prototype, if required, is $350 and is also yours to keep.
-
The CAD and prototype are how the design is finalised. Once production of the genuine ring has started, further design changes are not possible. Ring size can still be adjusted.
Production of the genuine ring generally takes two to four weeks, depending on the design. From first inquiry to delivery, most commissions take four to eight weeks, depending on revisions and prototype approval.
We do not offer rush production. Work is accepted only when it can be completed properly on a confirmed timeline.

You may collect the ring from our Toronto workshop or have it shipped.
Within North America, shipping is complimentary, tracked, and insured. Express shipping is available on request.
We ship worldwide. International shipping costs are quoted before dispatch. Duties, customs charges, and taxes charged by the destination country are the client’s responsibility.
The ring is not released until the balance is paid. At pickup, the balance may be paid in person. For shipping, the balance is due before dispatch.

The lifetime craftsmanship guarantee covers manufacturing defects on work built to our workshop standard. If a fault in workmanship appears, we will repair or replace that work at no charge. Loss, accident, and normal wear are not covered.
If you request a construction we advise against — for example very fine prongs or a band thin enough to bend in wear — we can still make the ring. That element is not covered by the lifetime guarantee. We will confirm this in writing before production.
Any repair or alteration carried out by another workshop voids the lifetime guarantee.
For three years after completion, aftercare includes one complimentary resize and one complimentary polish and refinish.
-
You may provide your own diamond, whether newly purchased or a family stone. The stone will be assessed before work begins to confirm it is suitable for the design. You are not required to purchase the diamond from us.
Design files remain with the workshop. They are not released, not shared with third parties, and not used as stock.
-
If a ring is damaged, worn, or lost, we can repair it or remake it from the original design. This is a paid service and will be quoted at the time.
The centre diamond can be upgraded later if the setting allows. That work is also quoted at the time.
Manufacturing defects on work built to our standard remain covered by the lifetime craftsmanship guarantee and are repaired or replaced at no charge.

Each ring is made to order. Returns and exchanges are not offered after completion.
The CAD and prototype are how the design is confirmed before the genuine ring is made.
